OUR MINISTRIES
So many people at 10th Street are generous with their time and talents. Often things are done by people at the individual or family level. Yet we also realize that for some things, we can accomplish more working together than as isolated individuals. The following ministries are our way of addressing such needs.
Benevolence

This ministry is focused upon helping those in our congregation and community who have special needs.
We have a food pantry and clothing closet that we use to help those in need.
Building Maintence
Scott King
This ministry works with the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and grounds.
Education
Claude Flynn
This ministry initiates, organizes, and maintains Bible classes for all ages as well as Vacation Bible School.
Fellowship
Don Leprettre
This ministry is responsible for planning and organizing opportunities for the congregation to be together.
Finance & Budget
Parker Goodman
This ministry helps in managing and reporting the congregation's finances.
Information Technology

Local Outreach/Involvement

This ministry coordinates outreach efforts in our community.
Missions

This ministry coordinates global outreach efforts. Our main emphasis has been Romania, where we support a church in the city of Oradea.
Senior Saints

This ministry seeks to encourage and support our older members.
Teens
George Dunn
This ministry seeks to promote spiritual growth among our young people through classes, service projects, fellowship opportunities, Christian camps, and other means. Different families in the congregation routinely open their homes to host devotionals.
Timothy Manor

This ministry works with the residents of Timothy Manor to provide for their needs.
Valet Parking/Greeters
Joe Stroud
This ministry's purpose is aiding people who are elderly or diabled in parking their vehicles, providing assistance for them entering the building, and greeting other members and guests as they arrive.
Worship
Mark Gray
This ministry oversees and coordinates our assemblies.
Security & Safety
George Edwards
This ministry's purpose is to make sure the building and grounds are secure and precautions are taken to ensure our members' and visitors' safety.
BIBLE CLASSES
Adult Classes Sunday Morning
Adult classes are studying the book of Mark
Young Professionals Class: A group of college age, young singles, and young married taught by men of the class.
Auditorium Class: taught by various men of the congregation
Fellowship Class: taught by various men of the congregation
Annex Class: A group of younger and older married with family taught by men of the class.
Adult Classes Wednesday Night
Auditorium Class: I & II Peter taught by Randall Adams
Singing Class in the Fellowship Hall taught by John Lofland & Brian Strong
Teen Class 7th-12th Grade
Ecclesiastes taught by Parker Goodman
Children's Classes
There are Bible classes for children of all ages
Kids of the King
Kids of the King is a children's program for ages 3 years old through 2nd grade where the children will be dismissed after the Lord's Supper on Sunday mornings for a class on their level during the message.
